At a special meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 30, the PEC Board of Directors voted to reduce the Co-op’s per-kilowatt-hour delivery charge effective Dec. 1.
Residential members will see a delivery charge reduction from $0.03212 to $0.02712 per kilowatt-hour, which will result in a $5 savings for every 1,000 kilowatt-hours used. PEC’s average monthly residential use is 1,275 kwh, so the majority of residential members should see even greater savings on their bills. The average annual savings for a residential account is expected to be about $77.
